Counting down

I've been sick all week :-( and finally started to feel better yesterday.  I haven't finished decorating the house and not to mention I drove around town looking for old fashioned white christmas lights.  Did I miss something?  Some stores had no christmas lights left or they only carried Led lights!  I still have some shopping to do and next year I promise I will have my Christmas shopping done in November.  Anyhow enough about my crazy life....  I love these No Sew Vintage stockings.  They're just my style.

I just realized it's been so long since my last post. 

I just got back from NYC after attending a 2 day business trip.  I did take some time to walk in Time Square and checked out the tree at Rockefeller Center.  I also did a little shopping too.  I bought 2 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots at Union Square's DSW and some window shopping Soho too.  We then had dinner at The Mercer Kitchen.  Loved it, check it out the next time you're there.

So today, I guess I'm going to decorate the house for the holidays.  Well, that's after I clean up the house, catch up on laundry and cook!  Sigh!

DIY time

How about taking some time to decorate for the holidays.  I love these projects!  Miss Tanya and her friend Katie cleaned up my craft room so I'm thinking of taking a "day off" and create.  I just have to decide when.  I'm so excited.

Oh dear, I've been MIA and realized that I've been busier than usual. To top it all off, I've been feeling under the weather all week. So this weekend I'll need to take it easy. Do you have any special plans this weekend? Enjoy!

Eek, I can't believe how busy I've been lately.  I haven't posted since last Friday...

I love this picture.  It's simple and easy decorating.  This weekend I'm planning to cleanup the basement, donate clothes, books and toys...  Can't wait to scratch that off my todo list! Sigh!

Happy Sunday!  Hope you had a fun-filled Halloween.  The kids are tired this morning (and so am I).  I woke up early and watched Jerry Maguire. I checked all the candies and now grabbing my coffee to sit outside. This time change is giving me more time to take it easy. Whatever you do, have fun!
