Oh no!

Pic: Unknown source, Breakfast at Tiffany's

My daughter Tanya is sick today, we both didn't sleep all night. Yep, the stomache flu, not happy. Tanya is the type of girl who always has a smile on her face, even when she's sick. Well last night, she wasn't smiling. She reminded me of when she was a baby, but realized that she's all grown up (13 years old) and taller than me. So she's still sleeping, won't go to school and I'm not going to work. I'll take this time to relax as well, catch up on laundry and watch HGTV and the Food Channel, my favorite. It's snowing and cold this morning, time to take out the winter coats.

Enjoy your day!

Awww...well I hope you're both feeling better soon! My daughter is home today too, but she's fine. She just needed a "mental health day". So we're just hanging out at home...eating LOL!

Take care,

Manuela

It's too bad she is ill, but a day home with mom will do the trick!

awww. But sometimes our bodies just tell us it's time to unwind. Cozy up...do nothing and get better. Always feels like a little gift to me (I know...I'm crazy that way). Your duaghter will feel better...and you will certainly feel better with the downtime.

Priorities in the perfect place...I love it!
