Sweet

I'm surviving! I went crazy decorating the house, putting up the tree and cleaning up. I had my colleagues over a couple of weeks ago for Lunch...We had a great time filled with lots of laughs and good food. Last Friday I went to a private Michael Bolton concert, I know, he was great! So this weekend I need to finish some shopping. I'm off next Friday for some well-deserved time off.
Okay, I need to clean up and then bake some cookies for our cookie-exchange party. Let me know which cookies you are baking this year!

Toblerone Shortbread Cookies Recipe

30 min 15 min prep
SERVES 36
2 cups butter
2 cups icing sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Toblerone chocolate bar, chopped
Cream together butter and icing sugar, beat in vanilla and salt.
Add flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each time.
Stir in toblerone.

Roll dough into 1” balls and place 2” apart on cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in icing sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

A private MB concert - lucky you! Those cookies sound good! I'm cutting back on the cookie baking this year and I think we'll just make thumbprint cookies as we all love them.

Merry Christmas!

Those cookies sound great and sounds like you have been busy. I'm making what Manuela is making. They are easy and I don't need to bake too much this year. Thx for sharing.
